Ductile and Grey Iron Castings

We offer premium-grade casting solutions made from high-quality raw materials, with castings available in a weight range from 0.45 kg to 500 kg, addressing a wide variety of application needs.

With a production capacity of 750 tons per month across our Green Sand and No-Bake Lines, we ensure a steady supply of superior products.

Our product range includes various grades, as outlined below:

Material Type Grade Description & Usage in Electrical Switchgear
Grey Iron FG 200, FG 260, FG 250 Commonly used for castings requiring good wear resistance and machinability, such as housing and enclosures in electrical switchgear.
ASTM A 352-80 IllA Used in applications requiring high strength and corrosion resistance, ideal for structural components in electrical equipment.
Ductile Iron GGG 40, GGG 50 Ductile iron is known for its excellent strength, wear resistance, and shock absorption, making it ideal for switchgear housings, bushings, and terminal blocks.
IS 1865 Grade 400/18L, 450/12, 500/7, 400/15, 700/2 Provides enhanced strength and durability, often used in parts like circuit breaker housings and connectors in high-voltage applications.
ASTM A 536 Grade 65-45-12, 80-55-6, 60-40-18 Ductile iron grades are ideal for producing precision components with superior mechanical properties, such as bus bars and cable lugs in switchgear systems.
Steel ASTM A148 SAE / AISI 1040, 1030 Steel castings are used for high-stress, high-strength components such as electrical switchgear operating mechanisms and connectors.
DIN 17182 GS20Mn5(V) Used in critical parts where strength, toughness, and resistance to wear are required, such as switchgear linkages and gearboxes.
SCW480 A high-strength steel alloy used for load-bearing components like electrical switchgear gears, ensuring durability under mechanical stress.
Alloy Cast Iron Special Grades 600/10, 500/14 These grades are used for specialised components like high-performance switchgear housings and heat exchangers, providing excellent heat and corrosion resistance.
Austempered Grades G24 Mn6 + QT1, G24 Mn6 + QT2 These grades offer high strength and toughness, making them ideal for electrical switchgear components that undergo high mechanical stresses.
Low Alloy Steel Grades EN 19, EN 24 These steel grades are used in precision parts like switchgear shafts, supports, and linkages, providing high tensile strength and fatigue resistance.

Our castings are known for exceptional performance, offering excellent corrosion and heat resistance to ensure durability in demanding environments. The products are securely packaged in three-layer corrugated boxes with steel pallet covers, and surfaces are protected with hot-dipped galvanising and anti-rust coatings. We export to multiple regions, with the USA being our largest market, ensuring that our products meet the highest international standards. As a leading manufacturer and exporter of ductile and grey iron castings for electrical switchgear applications, we provide comprehensive solutions that comply with both national and international standards, ensuring outstanding performance, corrosion resistance, and longevity.
